On a limited basis patients have successfully received coverage from provincial Workers Compensation Boards from claims related to injuries in the workplace. Many of the cases are determined on a case-by-case basis and patients have reported to CFAMM that they must go through an appeal process to obtain coverage, as cannabis is not listed as a regularly covered therapy.
